Namaste, iam Gregory Estey, Have an awesome day!

Brrr! It’s 22 degrees out there, but that’s not stopping me from taking a dip in the pool. I’m no polar bear, but I’m determined to brave the cold and get my swim on. After all, they say no pain, no gain! Plus, it’ll be worth it when I feel that post-swim satisfaction. Here goes nothing!

Is 22 Degrees Cold For Swimming? [Solved]

It’s the perfect temperature outside - not too hot, not too cold. It’s just right for everyone to enjoy! You can go out and have a blast without worrying about getting too sweaty or freezing your butt off. Plus, it’s mid 20s degrees - what more could you ask for?

  1. Temperature: The water temperature should be at least 22 degrees Celsius (72 degrees Fahrenheit) for safe swimming.

  2. Clothing: Wear a wetsuit or other appropriate clothing to protect against the cold water temperatures.

  3. Hydration: Drink plenty of fluids before and after swimming in cold water to prevent dehydration and hypothermia.

  4. Safety: Make sure you have a buddy with you when swimming in cold water, as it can be dangerous if you are alone or not prepared for the conditions.

  5. Warm-up: Do some light stretching and warm-up exercises before entering the cold water to help your body adjust to the temperature change more quickly and reduce risk of injury or shock from sudden immersion into cold temperatures.

  6. Breathing: Take slow, deep breaths while swimming in order to keep your heart rate steady and avoid hyperventilation due to the colder temperatures of the air around you while swimming in open water environments like lakes or oceans where there is no heated pool environment available for swimmers who may need it more than others due to their age, health condition, etc..

It’s freezing out there - 22 degrees cold! Swimming in that kind of weather would be crazy. I mean, who would even think of doing something like that? It’s just too cold for a dip in the pool.
