Hola, iam Christine Guzman, Have a Rock-and-Roll Day!
Brrr, it’s 15 degrees cold out there! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to snuggle up in my warm bed and get some shut-eye. After all, nothing beats a good night’s sleep when it’s this chilly outside. But if you’re not careful, the cold can make it hard to drift off into dreamland. So here are a few tips to help you stay cozy and get the restful sleep you deserve!
Is 15 Degrees Too Cold To Sleep In? [Solved]
Well, most docs say you should keep the thermostat between 60 and 67 degrees for a good night’s rest. That’s 15.6 to 19.4 Celsius, if you’re wondering. So, crank it down a bit and get some shut-eye!
Temperature: The ideal temperature for sleeping is between 60-67 degrees Fahrenheit, so 15 degrees cold is too cold for a comfortable sleep.
Blankets: To stay warm in such a low temperature, you should use multiple layers of blankets and/or comforters to keep your body heat trapped in the bed.
Clothing: Wear warm clothing such as long johns or thermal underwear to help keep your body heat in while you sleep.
Heating System: If possible, use a heating system like an electric blanket or space heater to raise the temperature of the room before going to bed and turn it off when you are ready to sleep.
Bedroom Door: Make sure that your bedroom door is closed tightly so that no cold air can enter from outside and cool down the room even more while you are sleeping.
Hot Water Bottle: Use a hot water bottle or heating pad at your feet or stomach area to provide extra warmth during colder nights when needed.
It’s so cold you could sleep outside at 15 degrees! Brrr, I don’t know about that. I mean, it’s chilly enough to make your teeth chatter. But if you bundle up real good and have a warm sleeping bag, then maybe it’s doable. Still, I’d rather not take the chance - no way am I gonna freeze my butt off!
