Well, it’s been quite a while since 213 was born, but now LA County has 10 area codes - 8 of ’em based on geography and the other two (310 and 818) are for the most popular ones.
310: This area code covers the Westside of Los Angeles, including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Malibu.
323: This area code covers the central part of Los Angeles, including Hollywood and Downtown LA.
424: This area code covers the South Bay region of Los Angeles, including El Segundo and Torrance.
626: This area code covers the San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles, including Pasadena and Alhambra.
818: This area code covers the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, including Burbank and Glendale.
