Hello, iam Mark Charles, Have a happy day.
Ah man, this is the third time this week my fuse has blown! I’m starting to think something’s up. It’s so annoying having to keep checking the fuse box every few days. I guess it’s better safe than sorry though - gotta make sure everything is in working order. Still, it’d be nice if I could get a break from all this fuse-checking!
How Do You Check A Fuse That Keeps Blowing? [Solved]
Check the fuse with a digital multimeter. Touch the probes together to get a baseline reading, then put them on either side of the fuse. If it’s similar, you’re good to go - but if you get no reading or “OL”, it’s blown!
Inspect the Fuse: Check the fuse for any signs of damage or corrosion. If it appears to be in good condition, replace it with a new one of the same rating.
Check Wiring: Inspect all wiring connected to the fuse box and look for any loose connections or frayed wires that could be causing a short circuit.
Check Appliances: Make sure all appliances connected to the circuit are in good working order and not drawing too much current from the system, which could cause a short circuit and blow the fuse.
Test Circuit Breaker: If your home has a circuit breaker, test it to make sure it is functioning properly and not tripping due to an overload on the system.
Contact an Electrician: If you have checked all of these items and still cannot determine why your fuse keeps blowing, contact an electrician for further assistance in diagnosing and resolving this issue
Uh-oh, the fuse keeps blowing! It’s probably time to check it out and see what’s going on. Could be a short circuit or something else causing it to overload. Better take a look before it causes any more trouble.
