Hi, iam Corinna Sweeney, Buongiorno.

Ugh, this food is so cold and old! I can’t believe it. Yuck! Anyway, I guess I’ll just have to make do with what I’ve got. It’s not ideal, but at least it’s something.

How Did They Keep Food Cold In The Old Days? [Solved]

Well, back in the day, villages had these cool houses to store their meat, fruit and veggies. Basically, they’d build ice houses underground or insulate ’em so they could keep snow and ice from winter around for when it got hot. Pretty clever, huh?

  1. Food Safety: Ensuring that food is stored and prepared in a safe manner to prevent the spread of bacteria and other contaminants.

  2. Cold Storage: Keeping food at a temperature below 40°F to prevent the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms.

  3. Old Food Disposal: Properly disposing of food that has gone bad or is no longer safe for consumption, such as expired items or leftovers that have been sitting out too long.

Yuck, that food’s so old it’s cold!
