Well, FIFA wants clubs to make sure their fields are up to snuff. They recommend 105 metres long and 68 metres wide. So, if you can, mark it off that way - it’s the standard!
Size: The FIFA football field is a regulation size of 100 yards long by 53.3 yards wide, with two goal boxes at each end measuring 18.3 yards wide and 6.5 yards deep.
Lines: The field is marked with lines every 5 yards to indicate the boundaries of play, as well as a center line that divides the field in half and a penalty area around each goal box for fouls committed inside it.
Goals: Each goal consists of two posts 8 feet apart and connected by a crossbar 8 feet from the ground, with a net attached to catch any shots on target that go over the bar or between the posts.
Penalty Spot: A penalty spot 12 yards from each goal marks where penalty kicks are taken from if an infringement occurs inside the penalty area during play or after stoppage time has been called for an infraction outside it.
